Zoubin Ghahramani is Chief Scientist and VP of Artificial Intelligence at Uber Technologies, where he serves on the Engineering Leadership Team and leads the engineering and advanced research teams developing data-driven algorithms to optimize the services Uber provides users worldwide.
Zoubin has a distinguished academic career at the University of Cambridge where he is Professor of Information Engineering. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2015 for his contributions to machine learning. He is Deputy Director of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, studying the impact of AI on society, and was one of the founding directors of the Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for Data Science and AI
