Greg Becker: The affects and new challenges caused by the COVID-19 crises

DenmarkBridge had the privilege to welcome Greg Becker, CEO of Silicon Valley Bank, at the last session of DenmarkBridge Talks in June. Silicon Valley Bank has more than 30,000 clients worldwide and experience from financing tech and life science growth companies for the past 35 years. Greg Becker has therefore witnessed the current crisis from the front lines together with his client- and partner-base. Greg talked about how COVID-19 has affected the tech ecosystem and how the venture industry can use the new challenges set off by COVID-19 to start thinking differently. Greg gave his perspective on how Silicon Valley will recover from the crisis and pointed out differences between Covid-19 and previous crises from an innovation economic perspective.
